Dell grew up surrounded by a family legacy in food—his grandfather, a renowned caterer and baker, and a lineage of culinary professionals stretching back generations. Dell found his passion early—he was cooking by age four and took his first culinary classes in high school. He honed his craft at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach, earning his culinary arts degree and building experience across fast casual to fine dining. Most recently, he served as sous chef at Westminster in Richmond, VA. In 2019, he launched Uzima by Dell, blending his culinary heritage with his own vision. Now, Dell is taking his passion one step further, offering in-home personal chef services for clients who seek exceptional, customized dining.
